Planning the Lesson
Planning the lesson is one of the main things the teachers should follow. “Jensen’s “Lesson planning” chapter serves as a guide for novice teachers who need to create formalized lesson plans. The chapter covers why, when and how teachers plan a lesson, as well as basic lesson plan principles and a lesson plan template. A sample lesson plan is provided in the context of a weekly overview, module overview, and a course overview”. It helps in preparing the lesson and manages your time while uploading all the details in. It makes you achieve what you want to teach them. Manages the exact time for reviewing, teaching the new lesson and the exact time needed for each activity. The lesson plan should be planned in a way that includes a quick review at the beginning of the lesson about the previous lesson they had then started with the new topic and ideas, then give them a quick review at the end of the lesson. Before planning the teacher should think of several ways in helping the idea to reach the student and think of different activities that will help the students improve their skills and will help them understand better by working by themselves. 1- Princeton.edu.
