BellI’ve suggested on my MST to use the bell for managing her class instead of yelling, she liked my idea and asked me to get her one. The students took time in adjusting with the new strategy to remain quiet. At first they didn’t response to the bell, but by days they started getting used to it and response back when the teacher rings the bell, they stay still and quiet.

Traffic Light PosterTo make a traffic light poster to use the positive and the negative reinforcements during her lessons to make it more thriller, it’s also colorful to attract the students’ attention by keeping them concerned where their name is. I used the bell and the traffic lights poster at the same time. I stand by the poster and ring the bell, whoever doesn’t response and remains quiet or keeps misbehaving, his/her name will be directly moved, if it’s in green it’ll get moved to the yellow light..

AssemblyI take the students back to their class after the assembly.

Make a LineAt their break time, I stay outdoors with them. I walk around and watch them playing. I also help in arranging the students to stand in a line to play in turns. For example, I hold the basketball and ask the students who wants to try throwing the ball in the target? Then I arrange them to stand in one line in front of the basket to play in turns.

Make a line to go to the CanteenI line up the students after their break time and gather them to take the students to the canteen for their breakfast.

PE ClassI take the students to the hall and stay with them. Whether they have a lecture or PE class or songs and dancing etc.. When they have a lecture we sit with them and when they have the songs played I sing and dance with them.

checklistTaught them Surahs from the Qur’aan, then I used the checklist to grade the students of who memorizes Surahs from the Qur’aan.

Help the lower level studentsHelp the lower level students to improve, teach them how to hold a pencil and write then numbers 1-5

Plant a FlowerI took the students outdoors to plant a flower. I helped them in digging a hole in the soil, putting the flower and covering the roots with the soil. I also helped in writing their names on the bowls and distributing it on them. Each student had a bowl with their name on it to plant in and I gave them the instructions of putting some soil in their bowls, putting the seeds and covering it with soil, then water them.

Bus Area
When the day is over, I take the students to the bus area.
